In Google search results, you only have space for 70 characters in your title. If your title is longer than that, it gets truncated (meaning the end will be “….”). (Previous estimates put this number at 50 to 60 characters, but Google recently expanded the width of the search results, and therefore can show slightly longer titles.) It’s generally accepted that using copyright notices and legal disclaimers can be seen as a positive sign by Google as these will make your website look more professional and more like a ‘real business’. One of the primary triggers in their algorithm is domain authority, which Google calculates based on a myriad of factors; in fact, the RankBrain system that Google uses employs more than 200 ranking signals. We want to come at this from all angles
SEO changes quickly. Information that was true six months ago, may not be true today. If an SEO tactic worked for one website that does not mean the same can be successfully applied to another. mobile-first index, make sure that what you serve to mobile users is the version of the content you’d want Google to index, not a pared down version, or a version that gets updated later than desktop, or version that redirects to the mobile homepage. There are many on-page elements that go into optimizing a piece of content for the search engines – such as title tags, keyword placement, using multiple content types, topic modeling, etc. Your title tag needs to be written for humans – as in it needs to make logical sense, rather than a keyword stuffed mess. The title tag will appear in a variety of places, from SERPs, to a social share, to the browser tab, so make sure it’s relevant and readable.
